An exam simulator, created and hosted by our partner killer.sh, is available for candidates who have purchased one of the following exams:
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)
Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS)
Certified Cloud Native Platform Engineer (CNPE)
Purchasing one of these exams includes access to 2 free sessions of killer.sh's exam simulator. The simulator doesn't fully replicate the real exam environment, but it provides questions and tasks of the same type you'll see on the actual exam, along with detailed solutions that often explain general approaches to similar issues. Simulator access is not available with all exams, including single-attempt exams.
If you've purchased an exam that includes access to the simulator, follow these steps to access the simulator:
Log in to the training portal at trainingportal.linuxfoundation.org.
Click Start or Resume on your certification exam to open the Exam Checklist.
Go to the Preparing for the Exam section.
Click the Exam Simulator button.
Clicking the Exam Simulator button redirects you to killer.sh's site and logs you in automatically. Your account will be configured with access to 2 free sessions of the specific exam on killer.sh. Each session lasts 36 continuous hours starting from the moment you activate it, and sessions are time-based, not usage-based. You have up to 1 year from the date you first access the simulator link to activate both sessions on the killer.sh site.
Simulator access is meant to help you prepare for an exam, so it's no longer available once you have passed the exam. If you did not pass the exam, you will need to claim your retake (if available) from the training portal or purchase a new registration for the exam. This will generate a new Exam Checklist and you will have access to the simulator link again in that new checklist.
If you have used up your allotted killer.sh simulator sessions or if they have expired, you can purchase additional sessions from killer.sh directly.
