Is my order eligible for a refund?
Refund eligibility depends on what you purchased. Here's what to expect based on your order type.
Corporate voucher purchases: if your organization purchased vouchers for employees or contractors to redeem, those vouchers are nonrefundable to the corporate purchaser. Other terms may still apply to the individual who redeems the voucher, but refunds do not.
Public Instructor-Led Courses: you can request a refund if you submit your request at least 14 calendar days before the class start date. If the Linux Foundation (LF) cancels a class, you'll receive a full refund or credit.
Exam Registrations & Self-Paced e-Learning Courses: you can request a refund only within 3 business days of your purchase date, and only if you haven't completed the exam or e-learning course.
THRIVE-ONE Subscriptions: you can request a refund only within 3 business days of your purchase date, and only if you haven't completed any products included in your subscription (self-paced e-learning courses or SkillCred exams).
Why does the amount of the refund for my canceled purchase not match the amount originally charged?
When refunds and foreign currency are involved, the cardholder’s bank will handle the currency conversion using its own exchange rates and fees. Since each bank sets its own terms, you'll need to contact your bank directly to understand the specific rates and fees applied to both the original charge and the refund.
